Thai Fusion Massage

This takes place on a massage table and is a combination of Thai herbal compress massage, Thai foot massage and some very gentle stretches.
The compresses are muslin parcels of aromatic herbs and spices, including plai, ginger, turmeric, tamarind, lemongrass, camphor, kaffir lime and cumin. They are heated in a steamer to release the healing properties of the herbs, which are then absorbed through the skin.

Hot compresses can be used to address chronic problems, such as back pain and tondonitis, as well as to increase energy flow, improve circulation, relax muslces and stimulate nerves. They provide the same type of stimulation as acupressure, and can be used to stimulate tender or sensitive areas that cannot be massaged directly.

Thai foot massage has its origins in reflexology, Chinese massage and Shiatsu and is a massage of the lower legs and feet using a varitey of techniques including pressure applied with a specially designed wooden acupressure tool. It is a refreshing and revitalizing form of massage that is also incredibly relaxing, and can promote general health and well-being.
