Who can benefit?

I have worked on people of all ages, from 15 through to 72. I have found that everyone can benefit from it, regardless of age or occupation. I work within everyone’s limit and so those who are particularly tight might not stretch as far as those who are more flexible. However, I stretch each person to his/her own ‘edge’ with the result that everyone can feel the benefits.

Appealing to anyone whose life is stressful, from business-person to busy musician to teacher to mum, Thai massage can bring extreme relaxation and peace of mind. The slow, rhythmical practice appeals to the body’s need to be moved, stretched, pressed and twisted, allowing the mind to completely let go.

Regular Thai massage is particularly beneficial for sports people or those who have a very active lifestyle. It maintains full range of movement of joints and muscles that have often become shortened through extensive training, thus relieving chronic pain and reducing the likelihood of injury. I have had particular success with runners by concentrating on relieving tightness in their legs and lower backs, allowing them to train harder.
