Nick is an academic, new media producer and film-maker, who supports TKA's video editing and production activities.

Nick's interest in new media began in the very early days of the Internet in the late 1980s and early 1990s. His initial interest was how to use new communication tools within an educational setting. His interests developed in combining the use of moving image with new media tools, documenting the everyday and often disregarded aspects of peoples' lives and experiences. He is deeply interested in the documentary/ethnographic tradition and its relationship to questions of truth.

As well as being principal lecturer in new media course development and presentation at Coventry University, Nick is currently pursuing an MPhil/Phd in Ethnographic Documentary at Manchester University's Granada Centre.

Nick has also recently been recognised by Apple as an Apple Pro in their video editing application Final Cut Pro 6.
